About Editing & Restoring Photos
EDITING
Editing can be very tedious work, but it's something I like to do, and find I'm quite good at. I can remove small blemishes and do touch ups. But I can also add and remove things from photos. My goal is always to make the finished photos look like I haven't really done anything to them.
RESTORATION
Restoration takes a lot more time and a lot more work than editing, simply because most times there is more to fix. I wish I could restore all photos but some are too far gone for me to fix.
If someone would like me to try and restore a photo for them I would be more than happy to see what is possible, just give me a shout!

This is just a simple example, but it explains how I can take something that is not wanted in the picture, in this case the trees in the background, and I can remove them so that you can't tell they were even there.

I took this old photo with stains, rips and bends and restored it to how it would look originally

This photo had water damage from a flood and then was dropped, cracking the glass from the frame. The glass stuck to the image when the photo paper became wet, and could not be separated without ripping. After working on this picture, it can now be reprinted and hung back up on the wall.
